May the Favorites Win! Hey ,  Here is my big parlay of the weekend.  I want to make this absolutely clear that this is a gut pick and the chances of getting all of these picks right are low, but hey, here we go! NBA Picks: Atlanta @ Boston (ML)  The Celtics are at home, they are the better team, and they are one of the best teams in the league.  I do not think the Hawks have the defensive ability to hang with the Celtics.  Take the Celtics here.  Chicago/Miami @ Milwaukee (ML)  I do not know who the Bucks will play yet, but the Bucks are a top 3 team in the NBA going up against an average team in Miami or Chicago.  The Bucks have been clicking on all cylinders recently and getting this game at home just makes me feel more in favor of the Bucks.  Los Angeles Clippers @ Phoenix Suns (ML)  My prior articles have already mentioned this but I do think the Suns could be the best team in the NBA.  This one is simple, I am backing the Suns until they prove me wrong.   Soccer Picks:  Note: I would be curious if you are interested in soccer betting?  I know it is not the number one sport in the mighty U S of A but I have been following it for years, so I have some bets for this weekends games!  Leeds vs Liverpool (ML)  I know, Liverpool has been as inconsistent as they come this season in what has been an extremely disappointing season for the team from Merseyside.  They have proven to be exceptionally inconsistent on the road, so I can understand some reservations.  I still think Liverpool wins this game, they are due a win (I believe in certain spots, especially soccer, teams are due a win despite the fact that it is the gambler’s fallacy), and they are playing a bad Leeds team that may get relegated.  My biggest worry with this game is that it’s an away game for Liverpool and they are playing a Leeds side that needs points in order to avoid relegation.  However, I think Liverpool is the better team, and they are really due a win (they have not win in 5 games) so I like them to win.  Bayern Munich (ML) vs Hoffenheim  Bayern has been having a tumultuous time of late, out of the DFB Pokal, loss to Man City in the Champions League, new coach Thomas Tuchel still adjusting to his new team after only 4 games in charge following the late season hire, Sadio Mane and Leroy Sane fighting after the Man City game which led to Mane being suspended for one game.  All these issues are music to my ears – I love when the sky is falling for these good teams like Bayern.  It is a perfect opportunity to buy low, and let us not forget that Bayern are still one of the top 5 teams in the world.  They are at home vs a Hoffenheim team that has been playing better of late, but still, Bayern Munich at home and they are in a bit of a mini crisis?  I will take Bayern money line here.  Manchester City (ML) vs Leicester City  I am of the belief that even with the expensive juice you could blindly bet Man City money line the rest of the season (disregarding away games to Bayern Munich and likely Real Madrid) and make money.  They are that good.  I have seen this too many times under Guardiola and Man City where they get hot at this time of the year and go on a ridiculous winning run (currently they have won 9 in a row).  Facing them this weekend is a Leicester team that is just not good, they have lost 3 games in a row and are about to face Manchester City at the Etihad stadium.  There is not much else to say other than take the Man City money line.   Inter Milan (ML) vs Monza  Inter is another team that I think is due a win.  They did win on Tuesday vs Benfica in the Champions League, so the due for a win is not the only filter I am using here.  I also like that Inter is at home, they are due a Serie A win, and they are playing a Monza team in the bottom half of the table.  Inter money line is the play here.  So what does this all add up to on a big 8 game parlay?  Boston -400 Philadelphia -360 Milwaukee TBD Phoenix -275 Liverpool -140 Bayern Munich -500 Manchester City -625 Inter -230  This gets you +646 for 7 games not including Milwaukee, so you will probably be close to +700 if you include the Bucks.  In other words right now if you risk $100 you will win $646.  Once again this is just a gut pick!  Feel free to mix and match or take all the games but DO NOT risk your life savings on the big parlay!  Enjoy!
