Today I am withdrawing from my campaign for United States Congress due to redistricting. I am endorsing sitting Congressman Tom O’Halleran for the newly formed AZ02. When I started this campaign, it was with the goal of providing compassionate, fair representation to the voters in my home district. The good news is that Congressman O’Halleran is a recognized and seasoned candidate. Through our shared values and his strong finish for reelection, he will provide voters here the assurance of the fair representation that was my platform. I am grateful for the steadfast support of every person who donated their time, energy and dollars to make this campaign successful. Our campaign made significant waves by building strong organizing infrastructure, achieving record fundraising for the district, and raising awareness on key issues such as public health, water conservation, and rural economic development. Thank you to all who supported this campaign. We could not have gotten this far without you. Which brings me to our new goal: we all need to work toward a strong finish for Tom O’Halleran by continuing to support him in any and all ways we can.
