*|MC_PREVIEW_TEXT|* Help Ukraine refugees this Passover without actually having to help them. [Get Involved]( Dear Friend, During these days of Purim, we will do extensive activity to bring the joy of Purim to all the Jewish refugees in Poland, we will send thousands of Mishloach Manot parcels to Jewish refugees in Poland and even to Jews in Ukraine, But most of our efforts and resources are taken up in preparing for Passover. We are in the midst of a historic event, images of suffering and pain across Ukraine have taken over the news cycle the past year since the war broke out last year. Families in plight and refugees with nothing but the clothes off their backs are desperate for meager necessities like food, medicine, electricity and shelter across the war-torn country. Help Ukraine this Passover without actually having to help them. We are forever grateful to those who contributed to this important cause and your impact has been widespread. Continuing to help us help the Jewish Ukraine community will give them a needed breath of fresh air amid all the chaos of recent times. With the holiday of Passover coming up, there is a more pressing need for your help. We receive calls for help for Passover from Jewish refugees from Ukraine in Poland as well as calls from Jews in Ukraine - who ask how to do Passover properly Chabad of Poland will be sending out Seder Kits with Matzah, Wine, Passover traditional food, and other basic needs to over 2,000 Jewish refugees throughout Poland and Ukraine. Our cost for sending out Seder kits with all the traditional Passover food, throughout Poland and Ukraine costs $30 each, with 2,000 kits costing $60,000 total. Scattered refugee Jews of Poland and throughout Ukraine, who previously had joined community seders in previous years, have found themselves alone during this difficult time. Your help will give us the resources to reach out to those in need of a community or hosted Seder. Chabad of Poland will be sending out a troupe of young Rabbis to hold large public Seders, which include renting a space with all the traditional Passover trimmings, In 5 halls across Poland, we will host 200 refugees for the Seder night in each place, together a thousand people in 5 places. Cost $50 per person and totaling $50,000 overall. Other guests, such as Ukraine Rabbis with their families and some of their Jewish community members and families totaling 200, who have been displaced from their homes, will also find their way to Chabad of Poland. We will be providing those 200 guests with accommodations and food throughout the entire Passover, spanning 13 days in total (April 3 to April 16). Cost per day $100, 200 Passover guests per day $20,000, 200 Passover guests for 13 days $260,000. Below is a breakdown of our costs that have brought a sense of normalcy to our Jewish brothers and sisters from Ukraine in their time of plight.
