[image]( B"h Dear Friend, It’s ironic that the outbreak of the war in Ukraine — which has caused one of the greatest refugee crises in a century and has turned neighbors into enemies — has also turned the year 5782 into a banner year for unity and friendship; for being there for each other in an unprecedented manner. When the crisis struck, it was quickly obvious that a massive rescue and humanitarian aid effort was needed immediately. Lives were at risk each day, and those who fled were left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Recognizing what needed to be done, Chabad of Poland mobilized our existing infrastructure on the ground in Warsaw, where the crisis was acute and where thousands of refugees were pouring in each day. Chabad of Poland ensured that kosher food, accommodations, clothing, toiletries, legal help and so much more was provided at a massive scale in record time. Chabad of Poland has saved thousands of lives. For decades, Chabad of Poland has been the organization that delivers when Jewish people in the country are in need. When Jewish refugees crowded the streets of Warsaw, they knew to whom they could turn. And once again, Chabad delivered. Your generosity and vision enabled us to help thousands of Jewish refugees to rebuild their shattered lives. NOW WE`RE TURNING TO YOU ONCE MORE. As we prepare for High Holidays, a crowdfunding campaign to help Chabad of Poland continue to serve Jewish refugees from Ukraine is underway, and you can make a real difference in ensuring our crucial work can continue. Chabad of Poland was there, and continues to be there for Jews in Poland in their time of need. Now, we need your help to continue.
