Why? In just a few short days, the Jewish Holidays will arrive, and while many Israeli children will be enjoying the festivals with family and friends, children harmed by brutal terrorist attacks will not. These children will sit at tables missing their loved ones, afraid to leave their homes. They will miss out on some of the most beloved occasions of the year. The fear, the anxiety, and the anger that these children live with from their past traumas are devastating. Holidays are a time of celebration and joy for most families in Israel. No child, especially victims of terror, should ever feel alone, anxious, or afraid to enjoy Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year or Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles. I need your help to give these precious children their childhood back. Every child deserves to look forward to happy occasions, and you can make this happen.
