Hey, {NAME}. Another crazy week of videos. In case you're wondering, I have now successfully published at least one video for 145 straight days of 2023 (I'm counting). We have stuff to share. Don't forget to follow me in each place! 1. Are Meta's Changes to Aggregated Event Measurement Due to Improved Modeling? We're still trying to figure out how and why Meta made this big change to Aggregated Event Measurement, as well as what they're doing instead. One theory that came up in our Strategy Session this week is it's due to improved modeling. Maybe! WATCH: [ON YOUTUBE]( 2. Aggregated Event Measurement is Changing, and I Have Questions Meta quietly announced the change to AEM without going to major media about it. The only mention of this change was within their Help Center. But, this is a big deal. I have so many questions. Why can't we get some explanations? WATCH: [ON INSTAGRAM](=) 3. Did Meta Give Two Products Nearly the Same Name? This is getting silly. How many products have either the Advantage or Advantage+ branding now? And what does that "+" even mean? Is it better because it's plus? It was only a matter of time. It seems as though Meta gave two different products nearly the exact same name. I discussed this briefly in a [blog post about Advantage audience expansion]() as well. WATCH: [ON FACEBOOK]() 4. Only 7.7% of Views on Facebook Included Links There's been LOTS of discussion about this in the marketing world since Meta released their Most Viewed Content Report. I think there's a simple explanation for why the percentage of viewed content with links has dropped so dramatically. WATCH: [ON TIKTOK]( 5. Meta's Twitter Alternative Barcelona is Set to Launch in June Meta doesn't have a great (or even good) reputation when it comes to successfully copying the competition. But their attempt with Barcelona, the Twitter alternative, could be different. It's already a far different scenario and Meta may be set up as a favorite. WATCH: [ON LINKEDIN](=) 6. An AI ChatBot Trained on Your Content I'm testing out an AI chatbot that is trained on my content. It's far from perfect, but here are a few highlights of how it's working. WATCH: [ON YOUTUBE](=) 7. Ad Text Variations: AI-Powered Meta Ads Feature Meta recently announced some AI-powered ads tools, and this is one that I have now. It's actually pretty darn helpful. WATCH: [ON INSTAGRAM](=) If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask. Have a great weekend! Cheers, Jon P.S. I have a couple of remaining openings for one-on-ones next Monday if you need to set up a call with me. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
