Hey, {NAME}. What a week! There is so much going on right now, punctuated with the news about Aggregated Event Measurement. Here's a collection of my 1-minute videos from the past week to help get you caught up quickly. Don't forget to follow me in each place! 1. Big Changes Coming to Aggregated Event Measurement and Meta Ads We started getting whispers about this from our community last week. It became official on Tuesday, and I quickly recorded this video with my initial thoughts. WATCH: [ON YOUTUBE](=) 2. The Changes to Aggregated Event Measurement and Meta Conversion Campaigns Later, I'd record a video that was a bit more polished and thorough, walking through the specific changes coming related to AEM. Also make sure to [read my blog post]() about these changes, complete with my questions about how and why this is happening. WATCH: [ON INSTAGRAM]( 3. Meta's Aggregated Event Measurement Isn't Going Away There was immediately some confusion about what was actually happening. Many thought that Aggregated Event Measurement was being eliminated, but that's not the case. It's still needed. It's just that how it will be used is changing. WATCH: [ON FACEBOOK]( 4. Meta Announced Advantage+ Audience Meta actually made a series of announcements about some cool AI-powered tools for advertisers a couple of days before the big AEM news, so this was mostly missed. Advantage+ Audience was especially interesting. WATCH: [ON TIKTOK](=) 5. The Facebook Ads Metrics You Should Care About Meta offers so many different metrics to distract you that it's easy to get lost in information that just isn't that important -- or get overwhelmed by the information and not know what to focus on. Meanwhile, the most important metrics may get missed. WATCH: [ON LINKEDIN]( 6. Less is More with Facebook Ads This is more and more the case with each passing day. Stop overcomplicating your campaigns. Stop overthinking how they need to be constructed. It's often much simpler than we believe. WATCH: [ON YOUTUBE]( 7. Understand How the Meta Ads Algorithm Works It's critical that advertisers understand generally how the ads algorithm works. Not the technical details that we'll likely never know or even the little things like what the algorithm does and doesn't like. Instead, understand why the algorithm behaves as it does and what it's trying to accomplish. This will help you understand where the weaknesses in the algorithm are that can hurt you and the strengths that can help you. [I wrote about this](=) as well. WATCH: [ON INSTAGRAM]() 8. Be an Ethical Facebook Advertiser to a Fault I just wrote about this in [my most recent post](). Be ethical as a habit. Actively try to do the right thing. You should also know the rules and do all you can to stay within them. But if an ethical approach is part of your routine, you are much more likely to last as an advertiser. WATCH: [ON TIKTOK]( If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask. Have a great weekend! Cheers, Jon P.S. I have a couple of remaining openings for one-on-ones next Monday if you need to set up a call with me. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
