Hi, {NAME}. I don't normally email you on the weekends, but this felt like kind of a big deal. Meta's made a drastic change to location targeting, and I'm still sorting out how this is a good thing. Read about it here: [() For years, we've been able to select from the following when targeting a location: - People living in or recently in this location (default) - People living in this location - People recently in this location - People traveling in this location And now, you won't have the option. It's only the first one. From what I can tell, any ad sets running with one of the other options selected will continue to run for now. But if you duplicate that ad set, the change will be made for you. And, of course, you won't have these options with new ad sets. I haven't seen any exceptions based on optimization or objective. It seems not everyone has the change yet, but it's quite clear that this is a thing -- based on the messages I saw in my Ads Manager and based on updated Meta documentation. [Check out my post]() for thoughts on what I think is happening and the advertisers this will impact the most. I hope you're having a great weekend! If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask. Cheers, Jon [Unsubscribe]( Jon Loomer Digital 17503 Ruxton Ct Parker, Colorado 80134 United States
