Hey, {NAME}. I hope you've had an amazing week. It's been pretty crazy. This AI and ChatGPT stuff is just... A LOT. You probably know that I rarely go outside of the topic of advanced Facebook advertising. That's my niche. But this AI development is so big, we can't ignore it. I want to catch you up on everything that you might have missed. In some cases, I covered something in multiple ways (blog post, video, and podcast). And because there's a lot, I'd understand if you missed something! 1. Can ChatGPT Write a Facebook Ads Strategy? The topic of ChatGPT and AI has been overwhelming. One of the biggest challenges is cutting through all of the information out there and understanding how this actually applies to you and me. I decided to sit down and see how this could help Facebook advertisers. So I asked ChatGPT to generate a Facebook ads strategy. It did not disappoint! [READ]() | [WATCH]( 2. A Misunderstanding of ChatGPT and AI Not everyone is on board with AI and the bots taking over, and I understand. But some of the skepticism is based in a misunderstanding of how best to use this. Many have pointed to general or inaccurate responses. You shouldn't rely entirely on AI, especially at this point. You can improve your results by doing a better job as a Prompt Engineer -- training it with questions, information, and follow-up prompts. When I asked ChatGPT to generate a Facebook ads strategy, I wasn't satisfied with the first answer (which was in the original video). I kept pressing it, correcting it, and asking for more. The video below explains that further. [WATCH]() | [LISTEN]( 3. Should You Be Anxious About AI? Much of the anxiety around AI is focused on how many jobs it will replace. This concern is valid. There has not been a bigger, more disruptive change in technology since the internet. That's a big deal. Of course, business was done far differently prior to the internet than, well, today. If you had told service businesses back in 1990 that in a few years anyone could Google how to do something and get a tutorial, they'd be terrified. And that's kinda where we are today. Here's how I explain it... If it suddenly becomes easy for any business to generate a marketing strategy and execute it, the argument is that they won't need specialists. But if it's easy for any business to do this, it's also easy for their competitors. So, how do they stand out? It's all relative, whether it's easy or hard to do marketing. They will need your help to get an edge, but only if you leverage these tools. [WATCH]( | [LISTEN]( 4. AI Just Leapt Forward with ChatGPT. What Happens Now? I'm committed to recording at least 20 "long" podcast episodes this year, and I figured ChatGPT was a great topic to get this started. Luke and I discussed this on Wednesday, and I think you'll love the conversation! [LISTEN]() 5. ChatGPT Wrote a Movie We've heard about some of the pretty crazy things that ChatGPT and AI can do. I decided to test it to show you but also to help me understand its potential. ChatGPT wrote a 60-second movie about ChatGPT. It wrote the script, title, and voiceover at the end. I didn't edit a thing. It's written as a Hollywood thriller! Unfortunately, I'm the only actor (and I'm not a good actor!). [WATCH]( 6. How I Had ChatGPT Write a Movie Once again, I think it's really important to understand the process that went into generating that script. My contribution was necessary. I did not like the initial scripts that ChatGPT was giving me. As hard as I tried to make it funny, ChatGPT is not a good comedy writer. I would give it 15 prompts just to refine the script. But it was a fun process. Read and watch how I did it at the links below. [READ]( | [WATCH](=) I hope that you're doing amazing. There's a lot going on right now (A LOT), but we're going to figure this stuff out together. Have a great weekend. Cheers, Jon P.S. Is it time to book a one on one with me? Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
