--------------------------------------------------------------- {NAME}, In case you missed it in Monday night's debate, Upton showed yet again how out-of-touch he's become talking about his support for "civil unions" as opposed to marriages for LGBTQ+ couples. Watch here: /DdtyKA8Ad0-hkA3JsvazIUNh-ePuOwTmgjNfwV7Z3DE= [ RUSH A CONTRIBUTION RIGHT NOW TO HELP US DEFEAT](/DdtyKA8Ad0-hkA3JsvazIUNh-ePuOwTmgjNfwV7Z3DE=) [UPTON'S HOMOPHOBIC CAMPAIGN ](/DdtyKA8Ad0-hkA3JsvazIUNh-ePuOwTmgjNfwV7Z3DE=) Even after his campaign was deemed the most homophobic in the country, Upton has refused to denounce the disgusting lies being told by his campaign and allies. With LGBTQ+ equality is on the line, Upton has shown us once again why we can't trust him to fight for equal rights for all of us. [Chip in $6 or whatever you can to let Upton and his allies know that this type of politics is totally unacceptable.](/DdtyKA8Ad0-hkA3JsvazIUNh-ePuOwTmgjNfwV7Z3DE=) This should truly come as no surprise to folks who have followed Fred Upton's career. Upton supported Don't Ask Don't Tell which mitigated the ability of LGBTQ+ individuals to serve in the armed forces with dignity, and voted against efforts to make marriage equality the law of the land in Congress. Upton claims to fight for all of us, but his idea of "all of us" clearly doesn't include LGBTQ+ folks. We're fighting tooth and nail to win on November 3rd, even as our opponent continues to use homophobia as a campaign strategy. [Help us fight back against hate and bring real representation to Michigan's 6th district by chipping in $6, $25, or whatever you can afford today.](/DdtyKA8Ad0-hkA3JsvazIUNh-ePuOwTmgjNfwV7Z3DE=) Together we can win, Team Hoadley Jon Hoadley is a three-term Michigan state representative and a lifetime advocate for change. He's running for Congress in Michigan's 6th District to bring people and community back to the center of our decision-making in Washington. Can you make a grassroots donation to help flip this battleground district? /bEdGGL4MjoNAI2CHwni4mztayR_-5kzbwTeuumY7yHg=?refcode=email_footer_201028 Copyright (C) 2020 Jon Hoadley for Congress.
