According to the National Weather Service, an EF2 tornado touched down near Orchard Island in west-central Ohio and caused severe damage to several communities. A tornado coupled with baseball-sized hail is thought to have hit Little Rock, Arkansas, too. Unconfirmed reports of tornadoes were also made in Illinois and Missouri.
