Adam Schiff (D) and Republican Steve Garvey [won nominations]( to the U.S. Senate seat and will face off in the general election. In Texas, Rep. Lizzie Fletcher (D) held off her far-left challenger, Houston District Attorney Kim Ogg lost her race, and Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan [was forced into a runoff]( by Trump-backed David Covey.
