Conservative and liberal justices alike indicated concern over individual states deciding who can run for national office without Congress authorizing it first. They focused very little on whether Jan. 6 represented a legal insurrection. The Court has no deadline for its ruling, but the justices seem to be moving quickly. [Article Icon 1] Biden Faces No Charges in Documents Case President Biden mishandled classified documents by storing them in his garage but [shouldn’t face criminal charges]( for it, according to a special prosecutor’s report released Thursday. Prosecutor Robert Hur said because Biden cooperated and immediately returned the documents, he shouldn’t be prosecuted. Hur described Biden as a [“sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”]( Hur drew a contrast with the prosecution of Donald Trump for the same actions, saying Trump actively opposed the investigation. He also pointed out that the Justice Department has a policy against prosecuting sitting presidents.
