[Take Off] [Article Icon 1]Japan Lands Spacecraft on Moon Japan is now the fifth country to [successfully land]( a spacecraft on the moon, albiet an unmanned craft. The robotic spacecraft, nicknamed "Moon Sniper" for its capability of landing on a very specific spot on the moon's surface, [touched down]( Friday morning. The mission has not gone entirely to plan, however. The spacecraft's solar power cell isn't generating electricity, meaning the craft may become a moon statue once the emergency power runs out. Japanese crews are still analyzing the problem. [Article Icon 1]Alec {NAME} Indicted on Manslaughter Charges Prosecutors are trying (again) to [hold Alec {NAME} responsible]( for the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. A prop gun (mistakenly loaded with a live bullet by the film's "armorer") in {NAME}'s hand went off on the set of Rust in 2021, killing Hutchins, but {NAME} has maintained that he did not pull the trigger. The original charges against the actor were dropped in 2023 after {NAME}'s defense team created doubt about the Colt .45 functioning properly.
