For his part, Ron DeSantis said he wouldn’t snub the voters, even if it meant debating with two empty podiums. The New Hampshire primary is set for Jan. 23. An [average of state polls]( show Donald Trump leading Haley by 14 points, 43% to 29%, with DeSantis lagging at 6.5%. All the polls were taken before Monday’s Iowa primary. For the Democratic Party, President Biden isn’t on the ballot but is running a write-in campaign against Rep. Dean Phillips. The [polling average]( shows Biden at 58% to Phillips’ 9.8%.
