Trump's team had appealed the order from Judge Tanya Chutkan, which barred him from speaking publically about special counsel Jack Smith. The court refined the scope of the order, barring Trump from saying anything "with the intent to materially interfere with, or to cause others to materially interfere with the course of the case." It did, however, [remove Smith from the list]( of protected court staff. Trump has vowed to appeal the decision.
