The [explosion was strong enough]( to make observers believe it was an act of terrorism, but Governor Kathy Hochul says there's no evidence of that. In security footage, the [car can be seen]( driving extremely fast before hitting an object and launching into the air. "This vehicle basically incinerated," the Governor said. "Nothing is left but the engine." A Customs and Border Protection officer went to the hospital with minor injuries, and all four bridges in the Niagra Falls area were closed. [Article Icon 1] "Super Pigs" Threaten Invasion "Super pigs" are thriving in southern Canada, and the states of Minnesota, North Dakota, and Montana are doing their best to prevent an incursion of what one ecologist called "[the most invasive species on earth](." In the 1980s, the Canadian government encouraged farmers to raise wild boars. When the market for the animals collapsed, many boars were released into the wild, where they proceeded to survive Canadian winters, breed with domestic swine, and [create a crossbreed]( that's tearing up farmland and spreading diseases. Minnesota is monitoring the border with drones to watch for invading pigs, and aggressive solutions are being suggested to remove any of the animals that enter the US: nets fired from helicopters, huge ground traps called BoarBusters, and poison. [Article Icon 1] Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade The annual parade in NYC is kicking off a half-hour earlier today, at 8:30 AM (ET). [This year's edition]( will feature 16 giant balloons, 26 total floats, 12 marching bands, and hundreds of clowns. Cher will perform toward the end of the ceremony, along with a host of other musical acts. You can [watch the parade]( on your local NBC station or stream it on the Peacock app. --------------------------------------------------------------- Enjoy reading The Flyover?
