In his first televised statement since Hamas' attack on October 7th, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said that his forces are currently fighting on the Lebanon-Israel border and that the conflict may escalate into all-out war between Hezbollah and Israel. The quake was felt 500 miles away in New Delhi, India, and it had a magnitude of 5.6. In the district of Jajarkot—the epicenter of the quake—92 people [have been confirmed dead,]( and another 55 people are injured. Earthquakes are common in Nepal, a mountainous country with a vulnerable infrastructure. [In 2015](, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake killed 9,000 and damaged a million structures.
