Matt Gaetz, one of the most outspoken of the GOP opponents, vowed to move this week [to oust Speaker Kevin McCarthy](. Meanwhile, McCarthy’s allies in the House say they’re preparing a motion [to expel Gaetz]( over ethics issues. The GOP has a slim majority in Congress, and it requires a two-thirds majority to expel a member.
