Trump, who has a commanding lead over other Republican candidates, says he’s already focused on [the general election against President Biden]( and will use the Detroit trip to make a primetime speech in front of union workers. The GOP candidates who have [qualified for the debate]( so far include Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley, Chris Christie, Mike Pence, Ron DeSantis, and Tim Scott. Asa Hutchinson and Doug Burgum appear not to have qualified yet. Deion Sanders Decries Death Threats Last Saturday’s double-overtime Colorado-Colorado State game had college football fans on the edge of their seats, and the national attention increased after Colorado two-way star Hunter Travis was sent to the hospital by a [late hit]( from CSU defensive back Henry Blackburn — who’s now receiving death threats. Colorado coach Deion Sanders [came to Blackburn’s defense](, saying no football game should lead to death threats against a college student. At the same time, he said Travis, a dominant force on his team, would miss the next three games. Under Sanders, Colorado has become the hottest team in football.
