The interview with ABC host George Stephanopoulos has grown in importance as Biden has struggled to move past last week’s stumbling debate performance. This will be his highest-profile public appearance since then. On Wednesday, Biden [met with Democratic governors]( and blamed his issues on a cold and jet lag. He told them he needed more sleep and would be ending his workdays by 8 p.m. He also reiterated that he was staying in the race. "No one's pushing me out. I'm not leaving," he reportedly told his staff.
