[Take Off] [Article Icon 1]Airlines to Issue Automatic Refunds for Delays The federal government unveiled two [new consumer protection rules]( Wednesday, requiring airlines to issue automatic refunds when flights are canceled or delayed and to disclose baggage and other fees upfront. Under the new rules, tickets purchased directly from [airlines, travel agents, and third-party sites]( are eligible for refunds. Delays of more than three hours for domestic flights and more than six hours for international flights meet the refund threshold. Airlines also must list and explain all extra fees [“clearly, conspicuously, and accurately”]( on their web platforms or when they provide fare prices offline. Implementation of the new regulations is expected to take at least two years. Bill Lee for consideration. According to the statute, faculty and staff members must complete [40 hours of approved training]( each in order to carry a concealed handgun on school grounds. The Republican controlled chamber passed the bill 68-28, with four Republicans joining the Democrats in opposing the measure. House Speaker Cameron Sexton ordered the galleries cleared after [protesters shouted at Republicans]( and chanted, “Blood on your hands.” The bill comes more than a year after a mass shooting occurred at a private Christian school in Nashville.
