[Article Icon 1] Israeli Officials Meet to Plan Response Israeli military officials met Monday and discussed [a potential response]( to Iran's unprecedented drone and missile attack. Iran launched hundreds of drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles at Israel Saturday in response to a suspected Israeli strike in Syria two weeks ago. Israeli air defenses and warplanes, in coordination with the U.S.-led coalition of partners, [reportedly destroyed 99%]( of the drones and missiles. At the conclusion of Monday’s meeting, Israel's military chief Lieutenant[General Herzi Halevi]( said the recent attack would be “met with a response.” However, Halevi did not provide details, only saying Israel is still considering several plans.
