[Article Icon 1] Hospital Stops Transplant Programs A Texas surgeon overseeing liver and kidney transplant programs at a Houston hospital [allegedly manipulated]( a government database and deprived patients of an opportunity for lifesaving care. Dr. J. Steve Bynon Jr., a doctor at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, is described by hospital officials as a talented and caring “pioneer in abdominal organ transplantation.” They also claim Bynon admitted to altering the records.
