[Take Off] Severe Storms Forecast for Middle of U.S. Severe storms will move across the Midwest, South, and mid-Atlantic today and tomorrow, potentially bringing strong thunderstorms, large hail, tornadoes, and high winds. That deep wind shear and moisture create the conditions for tornadic thunderstorms.
