My dad John said that we have a big end-of-month deadline coming up, and from what I’ve overheard, we’re not where we need to be to reach our goal in time. {NAME}, Max the Dog here! On our walk this morning, I heard my dad John tell someone on the phone that we have a big end-of-month deadline coming up in just a few days. Now, I don’t know much about grassroots fundraising (I know lots about rolling around in the grass!), but from what I overheard, we still have a ways to go to reach our goal of 750 online donors. That means it’s all paws on deck to get us back on track! [Before you log off for the weekend, will you please show your support for our campaign and be one of the 750 more folks we need to chip in a couple bucks before May 31st?]( [CONTRIBUTE]( John has been working so hard — criss crossing the state for events from Annapolis to Frederick to Easton — to grow our campaign and share his vision for a more just Maryland. I’ve been trying my dog-gone hardest just to keep up! Here’s why this end-of-month goal is so important: we have a MAJOR public fundraising deadline coming up on June 7th, and apparently my old tennis ball donations don’t qualify as a donation…and the fundraising numbers we report on this June 7th public report will be available for everyone to see. So with the July 19th primary so soon after the deadline, we have to make sure our campaign is in the best position possible in the final stretch to Election Day. John is counting on suPUPorters like us, and we can’t let him down! Please rush in a donation of whatever you can right now to ensure we raise what we need this week before the deadline on Tuesday. With your help, anything is paws-ible! [So please, can you give $25, $10, or even just $5 today to send John (and me!) to the governor’s mansion?]( [PITCH IN NOW]( Thanks for being a fur-ever supporter! Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
