Vance won the crowded Senate Republican primary in Ohio. Now, Donald Trump is looking to influence a victory here in Maryland with our right-wing opponent Dan Cox. [Weâve got to be ready.]( We canât underestimate Trumpâs influence in the Republican party, and we canât underestimate the real threat his hand-picked candidates would pose as governor. Trumpian candidates like J.D. Vance and Dan Cox will do everything they can to undo the progress weâve made since Trump left office â so itâs up to us to stop them from getting the chance. Let me be clear: Delegate Dan Cox wants to use dog whistle politics to divide Marylanders, and I refuse to stand idly by. We need a leader who unites us, and I will never back down from stepping up to speak out against hate like this in any form.
