Since the pandemic began, women have left the workforce at a greater rate than men of the same education level. {NAME}, Since the pandemic began, women have left the workforce at a greater rate than men of the same education level, and in the current economic upswing, women are not making the same advances. However, with your support, I know that we can change this and make a difference in the lives of so many women. While our state is starting to come back economically, we are not seeing the same gains for women. It’s time to ensure that everyone is able to benefit from a surging economy — and we have a plan for it. We created the King-Siri Agenda for Building Women’s Economic Equity to push for equal opportunity, access, and more. [If you share our vision, could you help us make it a reality?]( [READ THE PLAN]( John and I are dedicated to ending the leaky pipeline and building economic opportunities for women by implementing paid family leave, access to affordable childcare, legal protections against sexual harassment, closing the wage gap, and more. Since women are most likely to take on caregiving responsibilities, the lack of paid family leave and childcare disproportionately affects their careers. I know how difficult it can be to make ends meet while balancing work and family. When I had my first son, I was taken off the partnership track at my law firm and made to feel I couldn’t have both a career and a family. In my work at The Women’s Law Center of Maryland, I have spent the last few years trying to make sure disparities like this do not affect the women of our state — and in the King-Siri Administration, we will do that work on a larger scale. [Will you show your support for our agenda by giving what you can today?]( Thank you, Michelle Siri --------------------------------------------------------------- Paid for by John King for Governor, Eliza Leighton, Treasurer John King for Governor PO Box 8429 Silver Spring, MD 20907 United States [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Instagram]( [CONTRIBUTE TODAY]( [CONTRIBUTE MONTHLY]( If you would like to learn more about John King's historic campaign for Maryland governor, text PROGRESS to 48178 or visit our [website](. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
