John has elegantly captured his love of all things oceanic with his collection of seaweed and seashell decoupage. Henry Bradbury’s muti-volume work, “[The Nature-Printed British Seaweeds]( popularized the 19th century technique of nature printing: pressing actual seaweed specimens onto soft lead plates to create lifelike and accurate representations in vivid greens and purplish reds. John has interpreted these pressed seaweed illustrations as a series of rectangular trays. At 10”x 13” the tray can be hung on its own or be grouped together as a beautiful arrangement.
