This is it. [John Avlon for Congress]( {NAME}, With just a few days to go until Election Day, I want to give you an update. I’ve always believed in the combination of hard work and having fun - and the enthusiasm around our campaign is inspiring people to give it their all as we run through the tape. This weekend we are canvassing across the district and calling and texting every potential primary voter. It’s safe to say this is the largest effort any Democrat has made in our district in years – and it’s showing. We are seeing enthusiasm and momentum that you just can’t buy. The message we keep hearing over and over again? Yes, we have to defend abortion rights and strengthen the middle class. But none of that happens if we can’t win. Democrats are just sick and tired of losing this seat. They’ve seen what happens when a self-funder goes negative on fellow Democrats and then loses by ten points. You get a MAGA-fied House run by Trump flunkies. It’s time to take back this seat and take back the House. And remember: before I got in this race, NY-01 wasn’t considered a real battleground. Now it is - IF we win the primary. Those are the stakes: either NY-01 is one of the topic pickup opportunities to make Hakeem Jeffries the next Speaker - or Suffolk County gets written off by national Democrats: because when you lose by ten, there’s no reason to do it again. That’s why we’ve seen an unprecedented number of early endorsements in this primary from Tom Suozzi and the New Democrat Coalition to 6 local Democratic Town Committees to three members of the Assembly and several major labor unions (including my opponent’s own union!) Now, former three-term Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone has joined Team Avlon - and we’ll be out knocking on doors this weekend. They all know that Democrats can’t afford to lose this fight. [If you missed last week’s final debate on News 12, the contrast could not be clearer.]( This primary election is a test between the politics of addition and the politics of division. Winning this swing district requires building a broad coalition and to do that you have to inspire and unite. We know what we have to do. Every primary voter needs to hear from us between now and Election Day. We’ve got the team to do it. [This is the final push. Every dollar from now through Tuesday is going to help us get out every last vote. Please pitch in one last time before the primary, and let’s go win this thing.]( Thank you for fighting the good fight with me. -John [CONTRIBUTE]( PAID FOR BY JOHN AVLON FOR CONGRESS John Avlon for Congress PO Box 1200 Sag Harbor, NY 11963 United States If you believe you received this message in error or wish to no longer receive email from us, please [unsubscribe](.
