When we say "broad coalition..." we mean it.

Here's broad: The 1199SEIU - Long Island's heroic healthcare workers union - just endorsed me - and so did the New Democrat Coalition. Here we've got a longtime stalwart in Democratic politics - one of the most important unions in the country - as well as a group dedicated to fresh ideas and a new approach - both coming together to win back this seat. Quality healthcare. Good jobs. Rebuilding the middle class. Improving the quality of life for everyone. That's what 1199SEIU is about - and it's what Suffolk County voters tell me is important to them every day. I agree -- it's why when I'm in Congress, restoring the state and local tax credits, expanding the child tax credit, and fighting for women's reproductive freedoms are at the top of my agenda.
