[John Avlon for Congress]( {NAME}, I think I figured out why Nick LaLota doesn't open his mouth in the district much - it's because when he does, it's such far-right Trump flunky talk that shows how out of touch he is with the basic American Values that should unite us: Equal justice under the law is a fundamental American value. It’s not evidence of a Banana Republic. Here's a reality check for Nick: A Banana Republic is when you want to pardon a criminal because they’re from your political party. A Banana Republic is when a candidate promises to pardon people who attacked the US Capitol on his behalf. That's what Nick LaLota wants. And are you surprised at all that a MAGA Trumpublican is scrambling to bend the knee to a convicted felon? I'm not. Just like when he abandoned the bipartisan border bill at Trump’s behest, Nick LaLota does whatever Trump says. Suffolk County deserves better. Make no mistake. The fact that a former president was convicted by a jury of his peers is a triumph for the rule of law. We can't let LaLota and the rest of the MAGA minions delegitimize this. That starts when Nick LaLota is fired by Suffolk County voters this fall. And that only happens if the Democrats put forward a candidate who can win the general election. [Want a banana republic? That's LaLota's fantasy. Want to start bringing people together and actually get to work? That's why I'm running for Congress, and I hope you'll join me. Together we can fight the good fight and win.]( -John [CONTRIBUTE]( PAID FOR BY JOHN AVLON FOR CONGRESS John Avlon for Congress PO Box 1200 Sag Harbor, NY 11963 United States If you believe you received this message in error or wish to no longer receive email from us, please [unsubscribe](.
