[John Avlon for Congress]( {NAME}, You know the stakes. You know I’m running in a swing seat. It’s a majority maker with more registered independent voters than any district in New York State. We can flip this seat from red to blue if Democrats fire up the base and then reach beyond it to form the broadest possible patriotic coalition to defeat Donald Trump and his far-right flunkies in Congress. That’s exactly what our campaign is doing right now. Democrats across the district are uniting to support our campaign. It’s why six of the eight town committees in the district and nearly every elected Democrat in the district have endorsed me. It’s why this week, Congressmen Tom Suozzi, Greg Meeks and Dan Goldman all endorsed our campaign in an unprecedented show of support in advance of the primary - because they know I’m the only Democrat in this race who can win the general election. You know the task in front of us in Congress. We need to strengthen the middle class by lowering the cost of living and improving the quality of life. We need to protect women’s reproductive freedom, invest in our infrastructure, combat climate change and defend our democracy. [That’s the fight. We’re in the final stretch here, with barely four weeks to go until the primary election. My opponent is self-funding with millions of dollars. Can you pitch in before the end of the month and make sure we have the resources we need to play offense and communicate my message to voters?]( This campaign is all about the choice facing Suffolk County. Who would you rather have fighting for you? Someone committed to bringing people together for common sense solutions – or a Trumpublican who doesn’t even live in this district? Democrats across the district are uniting because we just can’t afford to lose this seat. I know we can win this, but I need your help. Are you with me? -John [CONTRIBUTE]( PAID FOR BY JOHN AVLON FOR CONGRESS John Avlon for Congress PO Box 1200 Sag Harbor, NY 11963 United States If you believe you received this message in error or wish to no longer receive email from us, please [unsubscribe](.
