Here’s my point…the folks who are making a career out of politics are making a mess out of our country. That’s why it’s time to put term limits and age limits on politicians. Team, Joe is calling for term limits because having the same people, like Henry McMaster, in government for years and years has led to failures for voters. Instead of focusing on South Carolinians, he's focused on holding onto power by all costs, using money (and influence) from special interests, suppressing voting rights, and more. It's time for change, but we need your help. [Chip in today to stand with Joe!]( Joe's Original Message: I’m about to tell you something that's gonna completely blow your mind — the truth about our state and who we’ve been electing as our leaders. [But before I do that I need your help to get the truth out. Can you donate $5 or more to my campaign today? Because a lot of folks aren’t going like what I have to say.]( Now that I asked, here it goes… Airline pilots are forced to retire at age sixty-five. Federal law enforcement officers? Fifty-seven. Judges here in South Carolina? Seventy-two. But have you ever noticed politicians hardly ever retire? Our country and state are being run by a Geriatric Oligarchy—people who stay in office way past their prime. Some of these folks have been clinging to power for 30, 40, even 50 years. The people running our country and our state are the same people who’d ask you to come over and reset their router. Our Governor and my opponent, Henry McMaster, has been in politics longer than I’ve been alive. Literally. And where has it gotten us? South Carolina is near the bottom when it comes to schools and teacher pay, we’re dead last in roads, and crime is the highest it’s ever been. If Governor McMaster was a coach in the SEC, he’d have been fired a long time ago. So here’s my point…the folks who are making a career out of politics are making a mess out of our country. That’s why it’s time to put term limits and age limits on politicians. [It’ll bring new blood and new ideas to the table. That is why I need your help. Can you donate $5 to help me kick the general election off strong? We’re going to need everyone's help if we want to retire McMaster.]( If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process now. [DONATE $10 NOW »]( [DONATE $25 NOW »]( [DONATE $50 NOW »]( [DONATE $100 NOW »]( [DONATE $250 NOW »]( [OTHER »]( Bottom line… our leaders have become too extreme and commonsense seems to be a stranger in government these days. If we want new ideas, we need new leadership. If we want a change in politics, we need to change our politicians. Our campaign is not a contest between Democrats and Republicans or left versus right. It’s about the past versus the future. First versus last. New ideas versus no ideas. [That is why I’m asking for your support. Can you click here and donate $25 so that I can keep fighting for our state and to finally send a new generation of leadership to Columbia?]( Thanks for all you do, Joe --------------------------------------------------------------- [DONATE »]( [Facebook]( | [Twitter]( | [Instagram]( If you'd like to receive only the most important updates from our team, [click here.]( [Click here to unsubscribe from Joe Cunningham's email list.]( Paid for by Joe Cunningham for South Carolina Joe Cunningham PO Box 21012 Charleston, SC 29413 United States
