Protecting Reproductive Rights: In the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, President Biden and Vice President Harris have done everything in their power to protect access to reproductive health care amid the ongoing Republican attacks, are fighting to restore the protections of Roe, and will never allow MAGA Republicans to enact a national abortion ban.]( [Spearheading Historic Climate Action: The Biden-Harris administration has been leading the charge in tackling the climate crisis with real action – including the most significant climate and green jobs legislation in American history. The President has continued to deliver on the most aggressive climate agenda in American history through historic investments in clean energy. Passing the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act: President Biden has taken on the NRA numerous times – and won – making our communities and families safer. Because of Joe and Kamala’s tireless work to advocate for gun safety across the country, the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act is the most significant gun violence prevention legislation in 30 years, helping to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people and expand mental health and safety services in schools. Prioritizing Student Debt Relief: Hearing the concerns of folks across the country, President Biden has approved the cancellation of $132 billion in student loan debt for more than 3.6 million Americans, as well as the largest increase in Pell Grants in over a decade. The Biden-Harris administration has also launched the most affordable student loan repayment plan ever. Beginning in February 2024, the SAVE Plan will give borrowers who originally borrowed $12,000 or less forgiveness after as few as 10 years. President Biden and Vice President Harris have made extraordinary progress since they took office, getting to work right away to deliver for hardworking American families.
