These historic projects will create tens of thousands of good-paying, union jobs, unlock economic opportunity for communities across the country, and open up safe, comfortable, and climate-friendly travel options to get people to their destinations in a fraction of the time it takes to drive. The Biden-Harris administration will continue to deliver on its vision to rebuild America and win the global competition for the 21st century.]( [PRESIDENT BIDEN APPROVES ANOTHER $5 BILLION IN DEBT RELIEF FOR STUDENT BORROWERS: Last week, the Biden-Harris administration approved another $4.8 billion in student debt cancellation for 80,300 people, thanks to efforts to fix Public Service Loan Forgiveness so teachers, members of the military, nurses, and other public service workers get the relief they have earned. This brings the total debt cancellation the Biden Administration has approved to $132 billion for over 3.6 million Americans through various actions. Joe and Kamala will continue to improve the student loan system so that a higher education provides Americans with opportunity and prosperity – not unmanageable burdens of student loan debt.]( [AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN INVESTMENTS IN HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED CARE SERVICES REACH $37 BILLION NATIONWIDE: The American Rescue Plan included significant support to help states strengthen and expand home care programs and better attract, retain, and more fairly compensate their care workforces while helping over seven million seniors and individuals with disabilities and their families help meet their long-term care needs. With the need for home-based care continuing to grow, the 50-state decision to expand access to home-based care and invest in care workers underscores the need for the President’s proposed investment of funding to improve Medicaid home and community-based services. Joe and Kamala will continue to expand access to long-term care and invest in our direct care workforce.]( [ORDER YOUR HOLIDAY GIFTS NOW: The days are getting shorter, and the weather is getting colder.
