With the midterm elections over, we wanted to take a minute to thank you for all of your hard work. Here are a few examples of what the Democrats were able to do this cycle thanks to your support: - 💵 Invested $90 million to state and electoral midterm programs. - 💰 Transferred $27 million to our sister committees. - 💪 Mobilized volunteers to take 500,000 actions for volunteer recruitment, voter registration, and GOTV. - 📱 Made over 7.8 million calls and sent over 28 million text messages nationwide. We couldn’t have done it without you and this grassroots team, and for that, we’re so grateful. Raphael Warnock and Republican Herschel Walker. This grassroots team is going to make all the difference in this race, so we’re counting on your support. President Biden spoke optimistically about the future of the nation and what Democrats have done and will continue to do. Take a look: “You’ve all heard me say it before, and I’ll say it again: I honest to God have never been more optimistic about America’s future than today. And I’m optimistic for a number of reasons. We’re better situated than any nation in the world -- any nation in the world -- to lead the world. We’re better positioned than any nation in the world, in terms of our economic growth and possibilities. Thanks to the hard work of this team, we were able to secure a Democratic trifecta in Michigan, flip Pennsylvania’s Senate seat and elect John Fetterman, fend off a GOP supermajority in North Carolina, and so much more! Check out some of our historic wins: - Wes Moore will be the first Black governor of Maryland. - Becca Balint will become Vermont’s first woman and openly gay person to represent the state in Congress. - James Roesener will be the first trans man elected to a state legislature (NH HD22, Ward 8). - Summer Lee (PA-12) will be the first Black woman elected to Congress from Pennsylvania. - Delia Ramirez is the first Latina congresswoman from Illinois (IL-03). - Munira Abdullahi is the first Somali American and first Muslim woman elected to Ohio General Assembly. - Shri Thanedar will be the first Indian American to represent Michigan in Congress. - Robert Garcia will be the first LGBTQ+ immigrant to serve in Congress. - And so many more! --------------------------------------------------------------- Wear It Loud and Proud With all the progress that Democrats have made in the last few years, we wanted to give you an opportunity to get your very own “Proud Democrat” pin.
