This week he was in Racine, Wisconsin where he highlighted how his Invest in America agenda is delivering huge progress for communities that were left behind by Donald Trump. Wednesday marked his fourth visit to the critical battleground state this year to speak with voters about the administration’s historic investments in communities, economic gains made under Biden-Harris leadership, and his lifelong commitment to defending fundamental freedoms. To keep up President Biden’s momentum, our campaign is launching ads, investing in outreach to key constituencies, and hitting the trail to talk directly to the voters who will decide this election.]( [ON THE GROUND: VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS VISITS PENNSYLVANIA ON HER REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM TOUR: On Wednesday, Vice President Kamala Harris was in the Philadelphia suburbs to underscore the stakes of the election for reproductive freedom. Appearing in conversation with actress and humanitarian Sheryl Lee Ralph, Vice President Harris made clear that Donald Trump is to blame for threats to reproductive freedom across the country, including in states like Pennsylvania. Trump continues to brag about being “proudly the person responsible” for overturning Roe, saying that it is “working the way it is supposed to.” Because of Trump, over 1 in 3 women of reproductive age in America now live under an abortion ban, women are being turned away from the medical care they need, doctors are being threatened with persecution for doing their jobs, and access to fertility treatments is at risk. The discussion also highlighted the administration’s work to improve maternal and postpartum health care. This marked the fifth time in the past five weeks that Vice President Harris has headlined a campaign event focused on reproductive freedom. The bottom line: Donald Trump owns the state of abortion rights in our country today. He is proud of it, and he wants to make it worse.
