My view of the economy is a view from Scranton. Donald Trump’s is a view from Mar-a-Lago.  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [Biden-Harris 2024](#) {NAME}, yesterday I gave a speech in Scranton sharing the difference between my vision for the economy -- for our country -- and Donald Trump’s. [I hope you’ll give me a chance to explain, and if you’re able, consider making a contribution to my campaign.]( Scranton is home. It’s a place that climbs into your heart and never leaves. It’s the place where I learned that money doesn’t determine your worth and that everyone deserves a fair shot. That’s why when I look at the economy, I see it through the eyes of Scranton. Whereas, Donald Trump sees it from Mar-a-Lago. For more than 40 years, Republicans like Trump have promised that the best way to grow the economy is from the top down. Give more tax cuts to those at the top and the benefits will trickle down to everyone else. Here’s the part that they won’t say out loud: It doesn’t work like that. When billionaires and large corporations get massive tax cuts, it puts the middle class further out of reach for everyday Americans. It rips dignity, pride, and hope out of communities across this country. [Unlike Trump, I’m fighting for a fair tax system that puts working families first, but I need your help to keep up the fight, {NAME}. Will you make a contribution of $25 -- or any amount that is meaningful to you -- to support my reelection campaign?]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [$25 >>]( [$50 >>]( [$100 >>]( [$250 >>]( [$500 >>]( [Other >>]( When Trump was president, he passed a $2 trillion tax cut that overwhelmingly benefited the very wealthy and big corporations. In 2020, 55 of the largest companies in America made $40 billion -- and paid ZERO in federal income taxes. Under Trump’s watch, we lost three million jobs, the federal deficit exploded, and working families were hung out to dry. Now, he wants to double down if he wins reelection. We must stop him. While I wake up every morning thinking about how to make life better for working and middle-class families, Donald Trump wakes up every morning thinking about how to gain more power and control for himself and his billionaire friends. I believe in building an economy from the middle out and the bottom up. Trump believes in trickle-down economics, which has failed America and the middle class time and time again. I believe in protecting Social Security and Medicare, whose benefits folks have earned and rightfully depend on. Trump wants to slash these programs to fund massive tax cuts for the wealthy. I believe that billionaires and large corporations should finally pay their fair share. Trump doesn’t. It’s as simple as that. Under my administration, we’ve made record investments in infrastructure, health care, education, and so much more. We’ve created 15 million jobs, cut the federal deficit by over $1 trillion, and increased the corporate tax minimum. But, {NAME}, our work isn’t done yet. Think of how much more transformational change we can make to benefit all Americans with another four years in the White House. [I need supporters like you with me to win a fight this big and important. If you believe in a country where everyone deserves a fair shot, I’m respectfully asking you to make your first contribution to my campaign today.]( Thank you, Joe Joe Biden President of the United States [Joe Biden]( This email was sent to {EMAIL}. Thank you so much for being a supporter of President Biden and Vice President Harris. But {NAME}, we don’t want to bother you. Your support matters. Your donation matters. -- Joe Biden]( We sincerely thank you for your help and support. Paid for by Biden for President.
