[JJ's Power Pick](     [Study: A Positive Attitude Can Add 7.5 Years to Your Life]( My 60th birthday is in just a few days! One of the biggest lessons I've learned over the years is that mindset is everything—and the research supports it. This 23-year study showed that those who have a better outlook on aging actually live longer than those who dread getting older. Even when adjusted for differences in age, gender, socioeconomic status and other factors, the results remained the same. Folks with a positive mental attitude also recover from illness and injury faster, have better cognitive function, and feel that they have a greater sense of control in their lives.   [Training Principles for Mass and Strength]( Another one of my favorite podcasts, Peter Attia’s Drive, recently did a great episode with Layne Norton, who holds a Ph.D. in nutritional sciences and is a physique coach, natural bodybuilder, and powerlifter.
