Hey , The right trading approach can make all the difference in your success as a trader. The right trading approach can help you spot opportunities, avoid pitfalls, and even prevent you from making costly mistakes. The right trading approach is probably what helped many PROVEN professional traders consistently profit in the markets. The right trading approach unlocks so many doors in your trading. But what exactly is the "right" approach? Is it relying on charts? Is it using a specific set of indicators? Or is it something else entirely? Well, if you've been following us for a while, you know that at Jigsaw, we've got a bit of a different take on things. We're not exactly fans of the whole "chart-only" trading approach. Don't get me wrong, charts are great and all, but relying on them exclusively? That's like trying to navigate a ship using only a rearview mirror. We believe in “Ladder Trading”. The Ladder has been around a long time and it picked up a number of names along the way “Price Ladder”, “DOM”, “Depth of Market”, “Order Book” and at Jigsaw, we call our extended Ladder “Depth & Sales”. Different names for tools that display market information in a certain way: [Image] The Depth & Sales is a powerful tool that displays market information in a unique way. It's different from the charts that most home traders are used to, and at first glance, it can be intimidating. Many traders take one look at the numbers and run the other way, thinking it's too complicated or advanced for them. AND that is a huge mistake… Many of these traders come back to the Price Ladder later (sometimes years later), when they realize there's something missing in their trading approach. They can't quite put their finger on it, but they know they need something more. That's because the Price Ladder provides a real-time view of the market's dynamics. It allows you to see the speed and intensity of trading activity as it happens. You definitely don't need to memorize all the numbers on the Price Ladder to use it effectively. It's more about developing a feel for the market's rhythm. And if you can cross the road safely, you already have the innate skills needed to read the Price Ladder. With practice and targeted drills, you can train yourself to watch the market's speed and make informed trading decisions based on what you see. In my next email, I'll address some common misconceptions about the Price Ladder and show you how it can benefit traders of all styles and experience levels.
