Psalm 60:12 Victory Is Certain As we go through the ups and downs of daily life, we often feel as though we’re engaged in a battle. We struggle to maintain all the areas we’re juggling—family, work, friends, church, and more. As we become more and more fatigued from the fight, we wonder how we’ll keep going. Sometimes we may even feel as though we can’t go on, that something has to give. During these times, we must remember that our battle is already won. Yes, we continue to face certain challenges, but often the performance pressure we feel comes largely from our own sense of obligation. Circumstances may be less than ideal, but we have what we need for today. When we trust God with the future, we realize that we can begin living in the victory that Christ has already won for us through his death and resurrection. We know how the war ends, even if a few skirmishes remain to be fought. Our confidence is not in how well we fight, but in the certainty of surrendering to our Savior. Pray: “Jesus, no matter how hard things seem today, help me to remember that it’s only a temporary obstacle on the road to your ultimate victory in my life.” You can grow closer to God with my full Jesus Daily® Devotional Book at [Amazon.com]( or fine bookstores everywhere.
