YOUR DAILY DEVOTION FROM DR TABOR Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. Psalm 86:11 An Undivided Heart After the holidays, it’s sometimes difficult to regain our footing and get back to a normal schedule. We have to clean up the aftermath of our parties, pick up all the boxes and wrapping paper, deal with the leftover food, and figure out how to pay for the places where we went over budget. The letdown after an emotional high is normal, but we don’t have to lose any of the wonder, joy, and peace that comes with the celebration of Christ’s birth. How do we avoid a post-holiday sadness? Our hearts remain whole and singularly focused when we concentrate on loving God and serving his kingdom. We don’t have to crash after the wonderful celebration of Christ’s birth. His Spirit dwells in our hearts, and he has promised to be with us forever. Pray: “Father, remind me that Christmas lives in my heart all year long.” You can grow closer to God with my full Jesus Daily® Devotional Book at [Amazon.com]( fine bookstores everywhere.
