YOUR DAILY DEVOTION FROM DR TABOR For he remembered his holy promisegiven to his servant Abraham. Psalm 105:42 His Holy Promise At Christmas, we celebrate the birth of Jesus in many ways. Among them, we incorporate family traditions and bring out heirloom ornaments and special decorations. Many of these traditions and items have been passed down from generation to generation, all the more special as we realize that our parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents enjoyed the same special elements of their Christmas celebration. Just as we enjoy the unique family elements handed down at Christmas, we’re reminded of our eternal inheritance. God promised his people that he would make a way to save them from their disobedience and bad choices. He promised to send them a Savior, his Son, Christ the Lord. Our Father always keeps his promises, and the greatest one of all remains our most precious gift, a baby in a manger wrapped in swaddling cloths. Pray: “Today, Lord, I want to prepare my heart to celebrate your birth. Thank you for your sacrifice, for the gift of salvation, and for eternal life.” You can grow closer to God with my full Jesus Daily® Devotional Book at [Amazon.com]( fine bookstores everywhere.
