Isaiah 33:2 Our Source of Strength Each day we make it through as best we can—we get up, go to work or school, come home, do necessary chores, eat, relax a little, and go to bed. Sometimes it can become so routine that we wonder if we’re ever going to get out of the rut. And then some unexpected trial or problem arises that sends our usual routine for a loop. We realize how smoothly things had been going before this new crisis broke. Then we wonder if life will ever get back to normal, whatever that may be. While our routines may not be the same again, we can trust that God remains the source of our strength, our salvation, and our peace. Just as storm clouds move through and unleash thunder, lightning, and rain, events may catch us off guard and leave us frightened and anxious. However, each day we can know that no matter what storms life may bring, our Father has already gone ahead of us. The storms of life will pass and sunshine returns. God is with us!
