Genesis 1:27 God’s Design for You One of the unique and beautiful ways God reveals himself is through his creation. And how wonderful for us that he created both men and women in his own image. While very different in many ways, we each reflect the strength, determination, tenderness, and compassion in the Lord’s own character. Just as he reflects all these traits and many more, we, too, can display both power and mercy, both grit and grace. Whether as a man or a woman, we can know that our identity is inherently from our Creator. Our society often tries to dictate what makes a “real man” or a “real woman,” but these traits aren’t always accurate, let alone biblical and godly. Today, accept that God has made you as the kind of man or woman you are deliberately. You are his precious daughter or son, created in his image to reveal himself to those around you. Stop trying to live up to others’ standards of masculinity or femininity and rest in the knowledge of God’s design for you. Pray: “Father, I’m grateful for the ways you reveal yourself through both men and women.
