Proverbs 19:17 Pass It On God constantly provides for our needs. And he allows us to participate in this process by helping one another, sharing what we’ve been given with those around us. When we allow our lives to be conduits of blessings and not storage containers, we constantly experience more blessings to replace the ones we’re giving away and passing on to other people. Any container, no matter how big, has limitations. Eventually, it gets full and cannot hold anymore. A conduit, passageway, or channel, however, transports what it carries. It was never intended to hold and store its contents. Whether electricity, water, or internet data, conduits transfer their material and remain active, dynamic, and highly functional. Containers, on the other hand, can become stagnant, inert, and inoperable. It’s not that we share what we have with others to get something else. It’s that the process of giving blesses us as much as receiving it in the first place. Conduits run in both directions. Containers don’t. Pray: “Lord, I want to be a conduit and not a container. Thank you for the many blessings I receive. May I be a good steward of all you entrust to me.” You can grow closer to God with my full Jesus Daily® Devotional Book at [Amazon.com]( or fine bookstores everywhere.
