Why is no one talking about this…. It’s officially sweater weather season, {NAME}. It?

Why is no one talking about this…. It’s officially sweater weather season, {NAME}. It’s honestly one of my favorite times of year. I’m writing this to you while snuggled under my favorite fuzzy blanket (though, let’s be honest, I always have a blanket around me) while sipping some weird concoction I made that includes coffee, coconut oil, some mushroom creamer (don’t knock it ‘til you try it), and some half and half. As we start to approach the end of the year and slip into the holiday season, there’s a part of me that gets really excited about the new year. You know, the whole “set your goals for the new year” vibe. (I can’t help it, I do have a podcast named Goal Digger!) But there’s equally a part of me that reminds myself to SLOW DOWN. To just be in this autumn season. To not rush to newness but to be where I am … Right here at this moment. (And quick reminder: where I am right now is extra cozy!) I’ve always struggled with that feeling of my brain being in two places at once. I literally wore a necklace around my neck for a whole year with the words, “Be here now!” because my brain usually feels like it has a million tabs open. I’m thinking about school lunches and nap times and ordering a winter coat that fits … I’m thinking about swim lesson registration and trying to get to a pumpkin patch … I'm thinking, “crap, did we actually make that doctor appointment?” and "I need to order a birthday cake." I’m thinking about allll that (and so much more) on top of work and adulting. I’ve really been thinking about the unseen mental load that so many of us carry around in our lives. Whether it’s being a caretaker or a parent, an entrepreneur or an employee … we’re juggling so many things that go unseen on the daily. It’s no wonder why we struggle at being present. So while I am undoubtedly excited for the rest of this year, for celebrating both of my girl’s birthdays and putting up our first Christmas tree in our new home, and setting goals and intentions for the coming year … I am also just breathing into the fact that right now is pretty great, too. Here’s my hope for you: to take a quick minute to look around – like literally, lift those beautiful eyeballs off of whatever screen you’re looking at and take it in. What is right in front of you? What proof of answered prayers exists in your periphery? What is something you’re proud of? What have you learned about yourself thus far? Life is pretty great when we allow ourselves to BE in it! So here’s your permission slip to set the screen down and spend a minute (or ten) just soaking it all in. xo, Jenna [Unsubscribe]( Jenna Kutcher 440 N Barranca Ave #4227 Covina, California 91723 United States
