is this what’s next for you? Sometimes the reality of this just sneaks up on me, {NAME}! I was walking through a bookstore with my two daughters the other day – specifically because it’s one of those places where all three of us are excited to be aimlessly browsing… And that’s when it hit me. I was reading the back of a book I’d been curious about when I saw it out of the corner of my eye. That warm, peachy tone on the spine. A peek of that deep golden yellow ochre. The simple font. And my name. [I reached for my book and pulled it off the shelf.]() I held it for a moment, just smiling, letting a little bit of that pride flood in and encourage me. The cover words asking me, like it always does, “How are you, really?” I took a moment to answer that for myself and feel the weight of the book in my hands before sliding it back on the shelf. (If you haven’t held my book before, I have to say, it’s heavier than it seems. I picked the really gooood paper.) You might be wondering, “Jenna, did you forget you wrote a book?” And – well, in a way, yeah! When I see the book in an airport, in a social media post, or even in my office at home, my response is almost always, “WOW, okay, I really did do that.” In such a digital world where most of our creations and memories live on the internet, there’s something wild about holding your creation in your hands. Isn’t it wild how we can forget those big, wonderful things we’ve done and experienced? Not only was I able to accomplish writing a book, something I never thought I’d do, but I was able to see it become a NYT bestseller, thanks to YOU! *forever stunned* Actually, on top of all of that, it’s not just that I wrote a book – it’s that I scooped up so much of the life I’ve lived, the career I’ve built, and the relationships I love thus far – and I poured it into the book’s pages. Externalizing my work, taking my experiences, perspective, and skills, and weaving them into a little over 300 pages was one of the biggest challenges and yet most surprisingly natural YES-es I’ve ever said in my life. Not only is there a vulnerable piece of me out in the world forever, but there’s a branch of my business and legacy that no one can shake! All this to say: you’ve probably already surprised yourself with what you’re capable of. Remind yourself that you’re a powerful person. Let that pride flow in. ✨ And beyond that? It’s just so cool to have written a book. 10/10. If it’s scratching away at your brain, I say – it might be time to just go for it. ;) Jenna P.S. If you haven't read my book yet, I think you'd LOVE it! It's about how you can live your truth and answer the hard questions one day at a time to live a life of joy and alignment. I'll walk you through it page by page (and share some funny stories along the way!).
