A leading state senate Republican has already said that he expects a Texas-style bill to be introduced soon in Georgia. Our current Attorney General, Chris Carr, is defending HB 481, an anti-choice bill I spoke out against before it was ultimately struck down by a federal judge. He's also used his office to urge the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade. It’s never been more important that Georgia has a qualified Attorney General who will fight to uphold a woman's right to make her own medical decisions.
